VCF Agrupación de Peñas keep making an impact in Valencia
Fede Sagreras, president of the VCF Agrupación de Peñas, talked about some of the recent acts the group have undertaken in the community in an interview.
"I think that we needed to do our bit. We had to help the residences for the elderly, with the project that finished today. I contacted Domino's pizzas, because I liked the idea of rewarding those two places in that way. Domino's joined the initiative, and said that they would give us the pizzas as a gift. They told us to pick them up, so I got in contact with the local police force and that's where the idea came to fruition," said Sagrera, in discussion with VCF Media Radio on Friday.

"I have to say that it was a very emotional experience. It's very nice to applaud healthcare workers at 8pm every day from your balcony, playing music or whatever and making it a party, but when I went to the hotel and saw everybody there applauding, emotional and thanking the Peñas, Valencia CF and saying 'Amunt Valencia!' I got very emotional. It was great."

"I told everybody in the hotel and in the hospital that I was there on behalf of all Valencianistas and all Peñistas around the world. I told the story on our WhatsApp group, amongst the Peñas we have abroad and in Spain. Everybody is very excited and happy, because I think that this initiative makes people greater."
The Agrupación are already planning their next initiative, as they show solidarity with those in need at a critical time for society.
"We're going to keep on thinking. In fact, every week I've been thinking about things. With new technology like Skype we've been meeting every couple of weeks. We're thinking about ideas. I've got a big head, but I can't think of everything! We are going to think about things and see what we can do."
